Reservations Agent • Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (flexible depending on experience) • Location: Harrow • Job Type: Hybrid (Office Mon-Wed, WFH Thu-Fri) Join our dynamic team as a Reservations Agent, where you will design bespoke holidays tailored to clients' preferences, ensuring unique and memorable travel experiences. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for African safari holidays and a strong background in travel consultancy. Day-to-day of the role: • Design and manage bespoke holidays tailored to clients' preferences, ensuring unique and memorable travel experiences. • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and fostering repeat business. • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional travel services, packages, and exclusive experiences to enhance the client journey. • Offer expert advice on destinations, itineraries, and services, guiding clients to make informed decisions. • Manage client inquiries, bookings, and related administrative tasks efficiently and professionally. • Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring clients are supported and satisfied throughout the booking process. • Provide administrative support to the team as needed. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends to offer clients innovative and relevant travel solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications: • A genuine passion for African safari holidays, with demonstrable knowledge of the destinations we offer. • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar client-facing role; however, graduates with a willingness to learn and develop in the role are also considered. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities. • Proficiency in reservation systems and MS Office. • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a timely manner. • Experience in selling holidays, creating packages, and understanding of the travel market.
