Role: Residential Conveyancing Locum Solicitor Location: Newark (Nottinghamshire) Assignment: Week commencing 24th August 2026 Duration: 1 Week (Holiday Cover) Working Pattern: Full-Time Hourly Rate: Competitive | DOE Short-Term Residential Conveyancing Locum Opportunity CRA Consulting is pleased to be working with a well-established law firm seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Locum Solicitor to provide short-term holiday cover at their Newark office. This is an excellent opportunity for a residential conveyancer looking for a brief assignment within a friendly and supportive team environment. The successful candidate will provide cover for an existing fee earner, ensuring continuity of service and smooth progression of client matters. The Role You will be responsible for managing an established residential conveyancing caseload, including: • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases • Re-mortgages and transfers of equity • Reviewing and progressing matters from instruction through to completion • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties • Providing high-quality client care throughout the conveyancing process The role is well organised and supported, allowing an experienced locum to quickly integrate and provide effective cover from day one.
