Job description

The RoleOur client is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor / Conveyancer to join its established Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to manage their own caseload while delivering high-quality client service within a supportive and collaborative environment. Responsibilities • Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. • Handle a variety of transactions, including freehold, leasehold, and shared ownership properties. • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other key stakeholders. • Deliver high standards of client service across face-to-face, telephone, and remote communications. • Progress matters efficiently and cost-effectively while meeting agreed deadlines and performance targets. • Support and mentor junior team members, including assistants and paralegals. • Utilise web-based case management systems to manage files effectively. • Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Residential Property department. Candidate Requirements • A minimum of 3 years' PQE or equivalent experience in residential conveyancing. • Proven ability to independently manage a residential conveyancing caseload. • Strong knowledge of freehold, leasehold, and shared ownership transactions. • Excellent organisational and time management skills. • Commercial awareness with the ability to work towards performance and fee income targets. • Proficient IT skills, including experience using case management systems. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach. • A proactive, organised, and professional approach to work.
