Job description

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with respiratory conditions. • Manage patients with conditions such as: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)AsthmaBronchiectasisInterstitial Lung Disease (ILD)PneumoniaLung cancerSleep-disordered breathing and sleep apnoea • Conduct comprehensive respiratory assessments and develop individualised care plans. • Monitor patients' clinical condition and respond appropriately to changes in health status. • Educate patients and their families regarding respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and symptom management. • Promote self-management techniques and adherence to medication. • Support patients in managing exacerbations and recognising early warning signs of deterioration. • Provide education on inhaler techniques and oxygen therapy equipment. • Maintain accurate and timely patient records. • Adhere to infection prevention, safeguarding, and clinical governance standards. • Participate in audits, service evaluations, and quality improvement projects. • Support the implementation of national and local respiratory guidelines.
