Responsible Sourcing Manager Remote Working with occasional travel to UK Offices Salary: Dependant on Experience Jackson Hogg is delighted to be partnering with a leading FMCG manufacturing business on the appointment of a Responsible Sourcing Manager. This is a key role focused on driving ethical, sustainable and compliant sourcing practices across a complex international agricultural supply chain. Reporting into senior leadership, the successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of the organisation's responsible sourcing programme, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, evolving regulatory requirements, human rights frameworks and broader ESG commitments. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced responsible sourcing professional to shape strategy, influence senior stakeholders and drive meaningful impact across global sourcing operations. The Opportunity • Lead the development and continuous improvement of the company's responsible sourcing, human rights and sustainability strategy across global supply chains • Own key responsible sourcing policies, including Human Rights Codes of Conduct, due diligence frameworks and supplier engagement programmes • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, ethical trade standards and sustainability certification requirements • Develop and manage supplier assurance programmes, including risk assessments, audits, corrective action planning and performance monitoring • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and industry stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact for responsible sourcing matters • Drive transparency, traceability and risk management across the supply chain, identifying and mitigating ethical, environmental and reputational risks • Lead supplier engagement initiatives to improve sustainability performance, human rights outcomes and compliance with ethical standards • Support sourcing and procurement teams through supplier onboarding, supplier transitions and strategic supplier development activities • Monitor certification schemes and sustainability programmes across the supply base, ensuring standards are maintained and issues are escalated appropriately • Prepare and deliver regular reporting on responsible sourcing performance, progress and emerging risks to senior stakeholders and customers About You • Proven experience within responsible sourcing, ethical trade, sustainability, ESG or procurement governance • Previous working within a food, beverage, FMCG or agricultural supply chain • Strong understanding of human rights frameworks, including the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, ETI Base Code and modern slavery requirements • Experience developing and implementing supplier codes of conduct, responsible sourcing programmes and due diligence frameworks. • Working knowledge of sustainability certification standards such as Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade or equivalent schemes. • Experience managing supplier audits, corrective action programmes and risk-based supplier assurance processes. • Strong understanding of ethical and sustainable sourcing risks across complex international supply chains • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence suppliers, customers and senior business leaders • Experience preparing and presenting responsible procurement sourcing, ESG or sustainability reports to customers and executive stakeholders Wider Benefits • Enhanced Company Pension Scheme • 25 holidays plus bank holidays • 3x salary life cover • BUPA healthcare cash plan • Bike to Work scheme • Lond service awards To Apply This is a new and exciting role offering the chance to shape and strengthen responsible sourcing practices within a respected and purpose-driven organisation.
