Job description

The role of Risk Administrator in Liverpool involves supporting the professional services team with administrative tasks related to risk management and compliance. Your day-to-day work will help keep the organisation running smoothly by ensuring processes are followed and records are accurate. Client Details A professional services company based in Liverpool. Description • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Business Acceptance team, as well as the wider Risk team when required. • Monitor the Risk inbox, triage incoming queries, and assign them to the appropriate Business Acceptance or Risk team member. • Conduct both ad hoc and comprehensive conflict searches, reviewing results and removing irrelevant matches where appropriate. • Process change requests for existing clients and matters that do not require a formal risk assessment. • Manage the creation, amendment, and maintenance of information barriers, escalating any issues or concerns to supervisors and relevant stakeholders as necessary. • Maintain the firm's gifts and hospitality register, respond to related queries, and reconcile register entries against expense claims submitted by the business. • Support the coordination of team meetings, including the collection of agenda items and preparation of presentation materials. • Perform data quality and housekeeping activities within the client and matter inception system, Intake, to ensure processes remain efficient, accurate, and streamlined. Profile Experience, Skills and QualificationsExperience and Technical Skills • Previous experience in an administrative role is essential; experience within Risk, Compliance, or a related function would be advantageous but is not required. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders. • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to research, analyse and present information clearly and concisely from multiple sources. • Demonstrated experience building effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management. • Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities, respond to changing business needs and take ownership of tasks through to completion. • Strong team player with a collaborative approach, proactively supporting colleagues and contributing to the success of the wider team. • Comfortable learning and adapting to new systems, technologies and ways of working.
