Road Freight Operator (Import & Export)Location: Leeds, UK Position Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role On behalf of a leading logistics provider, we are seeking an experienced Road Freight Operator to join their team in Leeds. This role involves executing day-to-day international road freight movements across Europe, managing both import and export shipments, and maintaining high standards of service for a global client base. Key Responsibilities • Arrange and manage international road freight shipments, including groupage, part-load, and full-load movements. • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing accurate tracking updates and handling transport quotes. • Coordinate with European partners, hauliers, and drivers to optimize routes and ensure on-time delivery. • Complete relevant customs documentation and transit forms required for European road movements. What We Are Looking For • 1–2 years of proven experience within international road freight forwarding (import, export, or multimodal). • Strong understanding of European road transport regulations and driver scheduling. • Familiarity with freight management systems and post-Brexit customs procedures for EU trade. • Ability to work from the client's Leeds office.
