Job description

• Provide high-quality, independent clinical care to the registered patient population. • Manage a wide range of acute, chronic, and complex presentations in primary care. • Undertake face-to-face, telephone, and remote consultations. • Ensure safe prescribing, including medication reviews and repeat prescription management. • Review and action clinical correspondence, pathology results, and investigations. • Make appropriate referrals to secondary care and community services. • Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality clinical records. • Work collaboratively within a small clinical team, including: • 3 regular GPs (including the GP Partner, Dr Kalsi) • Nurse Practitioner • Healthcare Assistant • Wider PCN-supported multidisciplinary team • Participate in CPT (clinical practice team) meetings and clinical governance activities. • Contribute to practice development, service improvement, and quality improvement initiatives. • Engage in multidisciplinary team discussions to support safe and effective patient care. • Support the delivery of enhanced services and local contractual requirements. • Support undergraduate medical education and supervision of medical students, or be willing to undertake GP trainer training. • Engage in continuing professional development (CPD), appraisal, and revalidation requirements. • Work in line with GMC Good Medical Practice and relevant NHS guidance.
