Job description

The post holder will work as a General Practitioner at Queensway Surgery, providing high-quality, safe, and effective primary care services to registered and temporary patients. This role involves delivering a full range of general medical services in line with NHS contractual requirements, GMC standards, and practice protocols. The GP will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, contributing to patient care, clinical governance, and service development within the practice. Key Responsibilities • Provide GP consultations (face-to-face and telephone) for acute and chronic presentations • Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of conditions in line with current guidance • Undertake appropriate minor illness/injury management and preventive care • Manage clinical administration including referrals, prescriptions, results, and correspondence • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records • Participate in duty doctor and triage sessions as required • Work collaboratively with the wider clinical and administrative team • Contribute to clinical meetings, audits, safeguarding, and quality improvement activities Professional Responsibilities • Maintain GMC registration and comply with appraisal and revalidation requirements • Work in accordance with practice policies, protocols, and NHS standards • Engage in continuing professional development • Promote safe, high-quality, patient-centred care Job description Job responsibilities The post holder will work as a General Practitioner at Queensway Surgery, providing high-quality, safe, and effective primary care services to registered and temporary patients.
