What We Offer: • Above-average salary, negotiable depending on experience and number of patients per session • Initial 612 month contract • 6 weeks' annual leave • 3 days' study leave (pro rata) • Medical indemnity covered • Supportive, approachable clinical and administrative team • Reduced administrative burden through nurse-led letter triaging • Efficient and experienced pharmacy team • Tier 2 sponsorship may be available Main duties will include; • Provide general medical services in accordance with the GMS contract. • Conduct patient consultations (face-to-face, telephone and occasional home visits where appropriate). • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. • Promote health education and preventative medicine. • Undertake clinical procedures within scope of competence. • Review laboratory results and hospital correspondence, with letters already triaged to minimise administrative workload. • Maintain accurate patient records using SystmOne. • Work within agreed clinical protocols and NICE guidance. Team Working: • Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, allied health professionals and administrative staff. • Participate in practice meetings, clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives. • Support the supervision and training of medical students, GP registrars and other learners where appropriate.
