Main ResponsibilitiesThe postholder will: • Provide high-quality clinical care to the practice population. • Undertake face-to-face, telephone and online consultations. • Assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. • Prescribe safely and appropriately in accordance with national and local guidance. • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records. • Complete referrals, prescriptions and associated administration in a timely manner. • Participate in duty doctor and supervision sessions as agreed. • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective patient care. • Participate in clinical governance, audit, significant event reviews and quality improvement initiatives. • Contribute to QOF, Enhanced Services and other contractual requirements. • Attend practice meetings and participate in appraisal, revalidation and mandatory training. • Support teaching and training within the practice where appropriate. • Contribute to the ongoing development of practice services and strategic objectives.
