Job description

Job: Sales Administrator Location: Engineering & Manufacturing Facility Shift: Days Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 1:30pm ( part time) Location: Dungannon Contract: Temp to perm We are looking for an organised and motivated Sales Administrator to join a busy engineering and manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous administration or customer service experience within a manufacturing environment who enjoys working in a fast-paced team. Working closely with the Production Planner and other internal departments, you will play an important role in ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the sales and production planning functions. Key Responsibilities • Accurately process customer orders and ensure all information is entered correctly. • Produce quotations, invoices and other sales documentation. • Maintain and update customer records using internal systems. • Respond to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner via telephone and email. • Liaise with production, logistics and finance teams to ensure orders are delivered on schedule. • Monitor customer orders from receipt through to dispatch, providing regular progress updates. • Support the sales team by preparing reports and assisting with administrative tasks. • Resolve customer queries and issues promptly, escalating where necessary. • Ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures, quality standards and health and safety requirements. • Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management. Candidate RequirementsThe successful applicant will have: • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. • At least one year's experience in a Sales Administration or Customer Service role within an engineering or manufacturing environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively. • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. • The ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team. • A positive, flexible and proactive approach to work. Desirable Skills • Experience using MRP or ERP systems. • Previous experience working with CRM software. • A good understanding of manufacturing processes and customer service expectations.
