Sales Executive

We are recruiting on behalf of a client in the food industry for a Sales Executive. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, and possesses excellent organisational skills. Sales Executive • Annual Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum • Location: Coventry - Must have a full UK driving license • Job Type: Full-time, On-site We are looking for a Sales Executive to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling high weekly volumes and fluctuating prices. This role is ideal for someone who is resilient, organised, and comfortable with heavy outbound calling. Day-to-day of the role: • Conduct heavy outbound calling, prospecting both new and existing customers. • Ask structured qualifying questions to understand customer needs regarding beef products, volumes, and packaging preferences. • Generate leads for the sales team, targeting approximately 50–100 prospects at a time. • Support sales order processing and credit control with administration. • Handle customer complaints efficiently (experience in this area is desirable). • Utilise the internal CRM system to track interactions and maintain customer data. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Confident and comfortable with extensive phone use, as this is a core part of the role. • Resilient and able to handle repetitive, high-pressure work. • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks. • Bubbly and social personality with excellent communication skills. • Ability to follow clear processes and ask probing questions. • Open to working in a meat-processing environment, comfortable with the presence of meat carcasses onsite. • Ideally someone eager to learn and build a career in sales.
