Job description

Pear Recruitment: Sales Progressor Location: Stopsley Salary: Basic £25,000 - £30,000 OTE £35,000 Hours: 9am – 5.30pm We are seeking a highly organised, motivated, and hardworking individual to join our client's busy and successful branch in Stopsley. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the exchange and completion of multiple property transactions, ensuring each progresses smoothly and within the required timescales. This is a fast-paced position, so you'll need exceptional organisational skills, the ability to prioritise effectively, and confidence working under pressure. You will liaise with buyers, vendors, solicitors, and mortgage brokers throughout the sales process, making excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—and a strong customer service focus essential. The successful candidate will be a confident negotiator with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Previous experience within the property industry is essential, ideally in a Sales Negotiator or Sales Progression role. Strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage a varied workload are also key to succeeding in this rewarding position. The Role • Managing property sales from the point of sale agreed through to exchange and completion. • Liaising with buyers, vendors, solicitors, mortgage brokers, surveyors, and other third parties to ensure transactions progress efficiently. • Monitoring the progress of each sale and proactively identifying and resolving any issues or delays. • Chasing outstanding paperwork, searches, mortgage offers, enquiries, and contracts to keep transactions on track. • Providing regular updates to buyers and vendors, ensuring they are informed throughout the sales process. • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts. • Negotiating solutions to overcome obstacles and minimise the risk of sales falling through. • Ensuring all parties meet agreed timescales and completion deadlines. • Keeping accurate records and updating the CRM system with all relevant information. • Working closely with Sales Negotiators and Branch Managers to ensure a seamless customer experience. • Delivering a high standard of customer service and maintaining regular communication with all parties. • Managing a pipeline of property transactions while prioritising workload effectively. • Assisting with the exchange of contracts and coordinating completion dates. • Ensuring compliance with company procedures and relevant industry regulations.
