Job description

My client is seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to work on an initial 3 month contract with extensions anticipated. The role is predominantly remote but occasional travel to sites in Surrey and the South of England may be required. The successful candidate will hold a current live SC Clearance Key Responsibilities • Deliver OT cybersecurity assessments across industrial control systems, SCADA, PLC, DCS, IIoT and critical network environments. • Conduct OT and cyber maturity assessments using frameworks such as NIST CSF, IEC 62443 and other recognised industry standards. • Assess critical network infrastructure, including segmentation, remote access, identity, monitoring, resilience and incident response capabilities. • Review OT architecture, asset inventories, data flows, firewall rules, network zones and conduits. • Identify security gaps, operational risks, vulnerabilities and control weaknesses across OT environments. • Develop practical remediation roadmaps that balance cyber risk reduction with operational safety, availability and business continuity. • Support the design of secure OT architectures, including network segmentation, zero trust principles, secure remote access and monitoring models. • Advise clients on OT security governance, policies, standards, operating models and supplier risk management. • Support or lead workshops with engineering, operations, security, IT and senior business stakeholders. • Produce high-quality client deliverables, including assessment reports, risk registers, maturity scorecards, architecture recommendations and implementation roadmaps. • Contribute to OT incident response planning, tabletop exercises, cyber resilience testing and recovery planning. • Support pre-sales activity, including solution shaping, proposal input and client presentations where required.
