Primary School Business Manager - Stockport Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an experienced School Business Manager to join a medium-sized primary school in Stockport. This is a key operational and strategic role supporting the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team. Pay: £200 - £275 per day PAYE (Rate dependent on experience, responsibilities, and qualifications. Candidates with extensive SBM experience, budget leadership, or wider operational responsibility may command higher rates within this range.) Key Responsibilities: * Manage school finances, budgeting, forecasting and reporting * Oversee HR, recruitment, and personnel administration * Manage premises, compliance, health & safety, and procurement * Support SLT and Governors with strategic and operational planning * Ensure effective use of SIMS and school data systems * Lead administrative and operational support functions Essential Requirements: * Previous experience as a School Business Manager or senior school admin role * Strong financial and operational management experience * SIMS training and confident SIMS user (essential) * Good understanding of school compliance, HR, and safeguarding processes * Strong organisational and communication skills The School: A welcoming, medium-sized primary school with a supportive leadership team and strong community ethos.
