School Kitchen Porter

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support the day-to-day operation of a busy school kitchen in Croydon. This is a term time only role, 25 hours a week, and is a long term, ongoing assignment. Key Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, equipment and utensils Wash dishes, trays, and catering equipment promptly during and after service Assist with basic food preparation (e.g. washing, peeling, portioning) Support the catering team during service period as required Requirements Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment desirable but not essential Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions Basic understanding of food hygiene (training can be provided) Enhanced DBS If this would suit you, or someone you know, please get in touch.
