The role and requirements from applicants To fulfil this role, you must be able to meet the following criteria: • Qualified Psychiatrist, with at 5 years’ experience of clinical practice in a senior role • General Medical Council (GMC) registered – Please include your reference number • Hold a GMC Specialist registration • Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists or have an equivalent qualification recognised by the Royal College of Psychiatrists. • Registered in good standing for Continued Professional Development. • Knowledge and experience of the Mental Health Act 1983 (England and Wales) • Experience in working with patients in acute hospital settings. The Department offers an excellent remuneration package which includes travel and associated expenses.
