Computer Science Teacher (KS3 & KS4) Location: Herne Bay, Kent Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Long-Term Supply / Temp-to-Perm / Permanent for the Right Candidate Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) or daily rate equivalent Inspire the Next Generation of Digital Innovators We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Herne Bay from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The position offers flexibility and can be offered as a long-term supply role, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The Role • Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. • Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum. • Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. • Support students in developing their programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy skills. • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental success. The Ideal Candidate • Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. • Has experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4. • Possesses strong classroom management skills. • Demonstrates a passion for technology and education. • Is committed to raising achievement and inspiring learners. • ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.
