The Role
The successful candidate will:
• Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 teaching depending on experience.
• Deliver engaging, inclusive, and high-quality lessons that inspire a love of music.
• Support students in developing performance, composition, listening, and music technology skills.
• Contribute to concerts, productions, performances, and extracurricular music activities.
• Monitor student progress and implement strategies to ensure excellent outcomes.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive and ambitious Performing Arts team.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Has experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge across practical and theoretical music.
• Has knowledge of music technology and digital music production.
• Is committed to achieving outstanding outcomes for all learners.
• Possesses excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
• Is passionate about enriching students' educational experiences through music.
