Science Teacher - Physics Specialism • Contract Type: Short-term cover • Location: Hackney, London, N4 • Dates: 14/09/2026-18/09/2026 and 05/10/2026-09/10/2026 We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher with a specialism in Physics for short-term cover at our academy. This role involves teaching Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 (A Level) and is not suitable for ECTs (NQTs). Day-to-day of the role: • Teach Physics to students at Key Stage 3, 4, and A Level. • Follow the academy's curriculum and standards to deliver high-quality lessons. • Engage and motivate students to achieve their highest potential. • Manage classroom settings and ensure a conducive learning environment. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - candidates without QTS will not be considered. • Enhanced DBS check required. • A minimum of two satisfactory references. • Must be available to start in September 2026. • Previous experience in teaching Physics at secondary school level is essential.
