Salary: £22,165 - £23,201 per annum

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students both inside and outside the classroom. Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff, you will help to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting teaching and learning across a range of subjects.
• Working with individual students and small groups to enhance learning outcomes.
• Assisting students with additional learning needs and helping to remove barriers to achievement.
• Supporting classroom management and behaviour for learning.
• Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and independence.
• Helping to prepare learning resources and classroom activities.
• Contributing to the wider pastoral and wellbeing support offered to students.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
• Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.
• A positive, patient, and flexible approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build effective relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• A genuine passion for supporting the educational development of young people.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
