SEMH Teaching Assistant - Secondary PRU - 1:1 Support - September 2026 Greenwich £100 - £120 per day Are you passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning? We're excited to be working with a Secondary PRU in Greenwich, who are looking to welcome a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to their supportive team from September 2026. This is a fantastic full-time, long-term opportunity running until July 2027, making it ideal for experienced SEMH/SEN Learning Support Assistants as well as graduates looking to build a rewarding career in education. The Role As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them to engage with learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include: • Providing tailored support to pupils both in and out of the classroom. • Working 1:1 and with small groups to encourage positive learning and behaviour. • Building strong, trusting relationships with children to support their emotional wellbeing. • Working closely with teachers and the wider pastoral team to create a positive learning environment. • Celebrating every achievement, no matter how big or small.
