The Role As a Semi-Automatic Welder / Production Operative, your responsibilities will include: • Carrying out semi-automatic (MIG) welding to a high standard. • Manufacturing products in line with engineering drawings and production specifications. • Preparing, assembling, and welding steel components. • Operating production machinery and equipment safely. • Performing quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards. • Using hand and power tools. • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment. • Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets. What We're Looking For The successful candidate will have: • Previous experience in MIG/semi-automatic welding. • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment. • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (preferred). • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality. • A positive attitude and strong work ethic. • The ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Good timekeeping and reliability. Desirable Skills • Fabrication experience. • Experience operating workshop machinery. • Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
