Semi Senior Accountant– ACCA/ACA - Progression Role Dudley £29,000 - £34,000 A growing accountancy practice in Dudley is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant who is actively progressing through ACCA or ACA studies and has solid experience within a practice environment. This is a development-focused role offering exposure to complex accounts preparation, and increasing client responsibility within a supportive but fast-paced team with full ACCA/ACA study support with structured progression You will be given increasing responsibility as you progress, with clear support towards qualification completion and senior-level exposure Role Responsibilities • Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies • Prepare management accounts for a varied client portfolio • Complete VAT returns accurately and in line with compliance requirements • Support bookkeeping and maintenance of client records • Liaise with clients and respond to day-to-day queries Personal Requirements • AAT qualified or ACCA/ACA part qualified (or actively studying) • Experience working in an accountancy practice environment • Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy • Good communication and client-facing skills • Proactive, organised, and able to manage workload independently Benefits • Full ACCA/ACA study support • Flexible working arrangements • Casual dress • Social events • Generous annual leave • Workplace pension
