Therapeutic Educational Practitioner • Daily Rate: £110 - £125 • Location: East London • Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a dedicated Therapeutic Educational Practitioner to join our team, working with children who exhibit challenging behaviours. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people. A background in sports can be advantageous but is not essential. Day-to-day of the role: • Implement educational and therapeutic interventions to support children with challenging behaviours. • Develop and maintain strong, supportive relationships with children, helping them to achieve their educational and personal goals. • Utilise a variety of strategies tailored to individual needs to promote positive behaviour and engagement. • Collaborate with other professionals such as teachers, therapists, and family members to plan and coordinate effective support. • Monitor and record children's progress, adapting strategies as needed to optimise outcomes. • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in therapeutic education. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Experience working with children, particularly those who exhibit challenging behaviours. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Resilient and patient, with a compassionate approach. • Background in sports is beneficial but not mandatory.
