• Location: Royston • Job Type: Temporary to Permanent We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a special needs school in Royston. This role offers a temporary to permanent arrangement, ideal for someone passionate about making a significant impact in the lives of students with special educational needs. Day-to-day of the role: • Plan, prepare, and deliver individualised lessons suitable for students with various special needs. • Assess and record students' progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs. • Collaborate with other teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to support student development. • Implement and adapt curriculum materials and educational practices to meet the requirements of students with special educational needs. • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure a safe, supportive learning environment. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. • Experience in special educational needs education. • Strong understanding of the strategies needed to manage classroom behaviour and support students with special needs. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and parents.
