The RoleYou'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, personalised teaching that enables pupils with Special Educational Needs to achieve their full potential in a positive and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons. • Adapt learning to meet individual pupil needs and EHCP outcomes. • Create an engaging, safe and inclusive classroom environment. • Monitor progress and assess pupil achievement. • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists and families. • Contribute to annual reviews, reports and school assessments. • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and professional practice. Essential Requirements • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • Experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs. • Excellent classroom management skills. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • A proactive, flexible and compassionate approach. Desirable ExperienceExperience supporting pupils with: • Autism (ASC) • ADHD • SEMH • Speech, Language & Communication Needs • Moderate or Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD) • Complex Needs Experience within specialist schools, resource provisions or mainstream SEN settings would be highly advantageous.
