The Role As an SEN Teacher, you will: • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs. • Create a positive, supportive and inclusive learning environment. • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and families. • Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews. • Support pupils' communication, independence, emotional development and academic achievement. • Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of complex learning needs. The Ideal Candidate • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply. • Has a passion for inclusive and specialist education. • Demonstrates excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • Is committed to helping every learner achieve their individual potential. • SEN experience is desirable but not essential; applications from mainstream teachers looking to transition into SEND are welcomed.
