This SEN Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone who is calm, proactive, and committed to making a genuine difference in the lives of young people. As a SEN Teaching Assistant in Dunstable, you will work closely with pupils with complex needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, supporting both their academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide both in-class and 1:1 support for pupils with ASD and additional needs.
• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Support pupils' emotional wellbeing and academic progress throughout the school day.
