SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Islington Salary: £95-£115 per day Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full Time | Term Time Only Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with additional needs across a range of secondary schools in Islington. Your ResponsibilitiesYou will: • Support students with a range of special educational needs. • Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions. • Assist teachers in adapting learning materials. • Encourage independence and confidence. • Monitor student progress and provide feedback. • Help create an inclusive learning environment. We Are Looking ForApplicants should have: • Experience working with children or young people. • Knowledge of SEN such as Autism, ADHD or Speech & Language needs. • Strong communication skills. • Patience, empathy and resilience. • A positive and proactive attitude. • An enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
