The Position - SEN Teaching AssistantA welcoming and supportive SEN school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist Early Years unit from September. You will be supporting children aged 3-5 years old with a range of complex needs, many of whom are non-verbal and require high levels of individualised support.The successful candidate will be patient, resilient, and confident in managing challenging behaviours using positive behaviour strategies. Restraint training is highly desirable, as you will be supporting pupils who may display behaviours that challenge. You will act as a positive role model, helping children develop their communication, social, emotional, and independence skills in a safe and nurturing environment.There will be a trial during the first week back in September, giving you the opportunity to meet the team and experience the setting before starting.
