The Role • SEN Teaching Assistant • Full-time | Monday-Friday • Long-term position • September 2026 start • Wandsworth • Competitive daily rate Responsibilities • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs. • Support learning inside and outside the classroom. • Implement strategies from EHCPs where appropriate. • Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour. • Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs and external professionals. • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development. • Promote a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment. The Ideal Candidate • Previous experience supporting children with SEN. • Experience supporting needs such as Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language or other additional needs is desirable. • Calm, patient and resilient approach. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Passionate about helping every child succeed.
