SEN Teaching Assistant – West HampsteadWest Hampstead | September Start | Long-Term | Full-Time Educo Recruitment are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in West Hampstead who are looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive school, making a genuine difference to the lives of children with Special Educational Needs. The Role • Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD and Speech & Language needs. • Providing 1:1 and small group support both in and out of the classroom. • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning and interventions. • Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour. • Helping pupils access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. The Ideal Candidate • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school. • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). • A calm, patient and nurturing approach. • Strong communication and behaviour management skills. • Passionate about supporting children and making a positive impact every day.
