SEN Teaching Assistant ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Location: Doncaster (with travel to Rotherham and Barnsley) Hours: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs across schools in Doncaster, with opportunities to travel to Rotherham and Barnsley. The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties • Support pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them reach their full potential • Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored support strategies • Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment Requirements • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based experience preferred) • A calm, patient, and nurturing approach • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Willingness to travel to schools across Doncaster, Rotherham, and Barnsley • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) What We Offer • Flexible working opportunities to suit your availability • Ongoing support and guidance from a dedicated consultant • Opportunities for long-term and permanent placements • Competitive rates of pay If you are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and making a real difference in the classroom, we would love to hear from you.
