We are recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive specialist school in the Guildford area from September. The RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs. • Support students both in and out of the classroom to help them access learning. • Build positive relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence and independence. • Assist with implementing individual learning and behaviour plans. • Support pupils with communication, social, emotional, and sensory needs. • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff. • Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. What We're Looking For • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable. • Experience supporting pupils with SEN, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs is advantageous. • A patient, caring, and resilient approach. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential. • Relevant education, care, support work, youth work, or psychology experience welcomed.
