SEND Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Manchester Start Date: September 2026 Location: Manchester Pay: £100 - £110 per day (dependent on experience) Contract Type: Full-time, long-term position Recruitment Agency: Tradewind Recruitment Are you an experienced education professional with a passion for supporting young people with special educational needs? Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Manchester, seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a diverse school environment that is deeply committed to inclusive education and the wellbeing of every pupil. About the Role: The successful candidate will work closely with the school's SENCO and teaching staff to provide personalised support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism spectrum condition (ASC), ADHD, moderate learning difficulties, and emotional and behavioural challenges. Support will be provided both in-class and through small group or 1:1 intervention sessions.
