Senior Accountant - Real Estate Location: London Contract: 12-month fixed-term Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 per annum inclusive of benefits Are you a qualified finance professional with experience in real estate, currently available and seeking a long term contract opportunity, that may become permanent? Our client is looking to appoint a commercially focused Senior Accountant to support their London-based property finance function on a 12-month basis. This role sits within a well-established commercial real estate platform and will play a key part in supporting the financial performance of a substantial and varied portfolio. This position would suit an individual with circa 2–5 years’ post-qualified experience within property or real estate who is keen to broaden exposure in a fast-paced, high-value environment. Key Responsibilities: • Financial Management: Oversee core accounting activities across the portfolio, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to relevant accounting standards including IFRS. • Month-End & Reporting: Lead the month-end process and deliver timely group reporting, alongside providing meaningful financial insights and analysis. • Audit Coordination: Act as a key contact for auditors, managing the year-end process and ensuring all statutory and internal requirements are met. • Planning & Process Improvement: Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, assist with tax-related matters, and contribute to ongoing system and process enhancements (including SAP-related initiatives).
