Senior AccountantUp to £50,000 DOE | Permanent | Remote Ready to take the next step in your practice career? We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a modern, forward-thinking accountancy practice. If you enjoy building strong client relationships, working with cloud accounting technology, and want the flexibility of largely remote working, we'd love to hear from you. The Role As a Senior Accountant, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing expert accounting and tax support while helping businesses embrace digital accounting solutions. You'll play a key role in delivering an outstanding client experience and supporting the continued growth of the practice. Your responsibilities will include: Managing your own portfolio of practice clients Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and financial statements Preparing VAT returns and corporation tax computations Supporting clients with cloud-based accounting systems including Xero and QuickBooks Building strong relationships with clients and liaising with HMRC Reviewing work and mentoring junior members of the team Identifying opportunities to improve client services and support business growth About You We're looking for someone who has: ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification (or is part-qualified) or qualified by experience Previous experience within an accountancy practice Experience managing a client portfolio Strong knowledge of VAT and corporation tax Experience using Xero, QuickBooks or similar cloud accounting software Excellent communication and relationship-building skills A proactive, organised and client-focused approach The ability to work independently while collaborating with the wider team What's On Offer?
