This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant who enjoys working closely with clients, taking ownership of a varied portfolio, and playing an active role in the continued growth of a modern, forward-thinking practice. The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses and individuals, providing both compliance services and proactive business advice. Key responsibilities include: • Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts. • Preparing management accounts and financial reports. • Completing corporation tax, personal tax and VAT returns. • Reviewing work completed by junior team members and providing support and mentoring. • Developing strong, long-term client relationships. • Identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes and add value through advisory services. The Ideal CandidateApplicants should possess: • Qualified by experience equally (if not more) valued as ACA or ACCA qualification • Previous experience working within an accountancy practice. • Experience managing a client portfolio independently. • Strong technical knowledge of accounts and taxation. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach. • A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
