As a Financial Accountant in Huddersfield, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, compliance and supporting the business with key financial insights. Description • Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Support month-end and year-end close processes. • Oversee reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly. • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. • Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and recommendations. • Manage and maintain accurate financial records and documentation. • Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Profile A successful Financial Accountant should have: • A recognised qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA). • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards. • Proficiency in accounting software and Excel. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work collaboratively across departments. • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
