Senior Accountant

Are you a qualified accountant looking for an opportunity to broaden your experience within a global business? We're recruiting on behalf of an internationally recognised organisation seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their UK finance team on a 9-month contract. As Senior Accountant, you'll take ownership of a broad range of financial accounting responsibilities while acting as a trusted business partner across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include: • Leading and supporting product pricing and costing activities • Providing commercial analysis and pricing insights to support the sales team • Reviewing and approving pricing quotations to ensure accuracy, compliance and profitability • Supporting the month-end close process, including journal preparation and general ledger activities • Managing accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and key balance sheet reconciliations • Partnering closely with Operations to provide financial insight and support business decisions • Assisting with year-end audits and ensuring audit information is delivered accurately and on time We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working collaboratively and is keen to make a positive impact. You'll ideally have: • ACCA, CIMA, ACA or an equivalent professional accounting qualification • Previous experience in a Senior Accountant or similar financial accounting position • Costing and pricing experience • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system would be advantageous • Outstanding communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with stakeholders across the business Park Street People Ltd is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
