Senior Accounts Assistant

Experienced in sales ledger and looking for a step up? This one's for you... This position has been created to support the Sales Ledger Manager, day to day you’ll support a small team, but your main focus will be taking the lead on a new project. The business is currently in the process of implementing a new system…A big part of your role will be working with the sales department but also to deputise for the Sales Ledger Manager. You'll need to be a people person and have experience in cashiering/sales ledger but also the ambition to become a manager within the next few years… We love working with this company and have supported them with recruitment a lot over the last 4 years... Below is a small overview of the role; • Lead the sales ledger team in the absence of the Sales Ledger Manager. • Be the Sales Ledger project lead, in the role out of a new integrated payment solution throughout the group and become the subject matter expert on this new system. • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations for allocated expense codes. • Receive, sort and log daily banking from sites. • Complete daily banking posting sheets for allocated sites. • Reconcile cash suspense accounts. • Review and distribute debtors for allocated sites (inc. liaising with sites to resolve overdue debts).
