Senior Analytics EngineerPermanent role - Up to £85k + bonus + benefits - London 2x a week in the office The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join a growing data team and help scale a modern analytics platform. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining data transformations, creating trusted datasets, and developing scalable data products that support business intelligence and decision-making. Working closely with analysts and stakeholders across the organisation, you'll help define data requirements, improve analytics capabilities, and champion best practices in analytics engineering. Requirements • Proven experience in Analytics Engineering or a similar data-focused role. • Strong SQL skills and experience working with modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery. • Experience building and automating data pipelines and transformation processes. • Familiarity with dbt (Cloud or Core). • Working knowledge of Python. • Experience delivering data to Power BI or another modern BI platform. • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions. What Will Make You Stand Out • Experience within Financial Services, FinTech, or other highly regulated industries. • Experience with Git and collaborative software development practices. • Knowledge of modern data modelling approaches, including Kimball methodologies and Bronze/Silver/Gold architectures. • Understanding of CI/CD principles and analytics engineering best practices. • Experience working within larger, mature data teams. • A passion for building scalable data products and enabling data-driven decision-making across the business.
