Senior Analytics Engineer London/Hybrid Up to £80,000 The overview This is a high-impact opportunity for a Senior Analytics Engineer to shape how data is modelled, transformed, and delivered within a modern data environment. You will work at scale, building trusted datasets that power decision-making across the business while helping to raise the bar for analytics engineering practices. The Role • Design, build, and maintain scalable data transformation pipelines to create reliable, analysis-ready datasets • Develop and own data models and outputs that support reporting and advanced analytics • Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable data solutions • Improve data quality, governance, and documentation across the data platform • Promote best practices in analytics engineering and support the wider team in adopting them • Contribute to the evolution of the data architecture as the platform continues to scale Your Skills & Experience • Strong commercial experience in analytics engineering or working closely with data analytics teams • Advanced SQL skills within modern data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks • Experience building and automating data pipelines and workflows • Working knowledge of dbt for data transformation • Proficiency in Python for data manipulation or engineering tasks • Experience delivering data to BI tools such as Power BI or similar platforms • Understanding of data modelling principles and data warehouse design • Collaborative mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
