Job description

Senior Bid Coordinator A leading architectural practice is seeking a creative and highly organised Senior Bid Coordinator to join its London team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bid Coordinator to take ownership of key and high-value submissions, support wider work-winning activity and contribute to the continued development of a successful bids function. The Senior Bid Coordinator will manage multiple submissions across a range of sectors, helping to produce compelling, accurate and visually strong proposals. The Senior Bid Coordinator Role The successful Senior Bid Coordinator will be responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process while supporting strategic work-winning activity across the practice. Responsibilities will include: • Managing the full bid process from initial opportunity through to final submission • Coordinating bid programmes, internal deadlines and stakeholder input • Managing procurement portals and different submission methods • Producing high-quality bid documents using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign • Writing, editing and reviewing bid responses • Ensuring submissions are accurate, consistent and aligned with internal standards • Building strong relationships with partners, senior stakeholders and technical teams • Supporting the development and implementation of work-winning strategies • Producing proposals, presentation materials and supporting documents • Maintaining internal bid libraries, including CVs, project case studies and photography • Reviewing bid outcomes and supporting lessons-learned activity following wins and losses • Identifying opportunities to improve bid processes and introduce efficiencies • Collaborating with business development and marketing colleagues • Supporting multiple bids with differing deadlines and stakeholder requirements • Helping the wider bids team deliver longer-term strategic objectives The Senior Bid Coordinator The successful Senior Bid Coordinator will ideally have: • Previous experience in bid coordination • Experience within architecture, construction, consultancy or the wider built environment • Strong knowledge of the end-to-end bid process • Excellent Adobe InDesign skills • Strong bid writing, editing and proofreading ability • Experience using procurement portals • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Exceptional attention to detail • Strong time management and organisational skills • The ability to manage several live bids and competing deadlines • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and partners • Experience using CMAP and OpenAsset would be advantageous In Return Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 • 25 days' annual leave • Annual leave increases with length of service, up to 30 days • 5% employer pension contribution after three months • Discretionary profit share scheme • Referral bonus • Life assurance at four times salary • Agile working • Core working hours • Work from home up to two days per week • Study sponsorship opportunities • Bespoke training opportunities • Annual professional subscription fees covered • Employee Assistance Programme • Family leave policies, additional annual leave • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave • Sabbatical opportunities • Season ticket loan • Bike2Work scheme • Electric car scheme • Subsidised gym membership If you are a Senior Bid Coordinator considering your career opportunities, please contact Megan Cole at Brandon James.
