Job description

Senior Business Analyst £600-650 per day | Initial 3-6 Month Contract, extendable DV or SC Cleared Ncounter is supporting a major Defence programme seeking experienced Senior Business Analysts to join a growing team delivering complex digital transformation across some of the UK's most secure environments. This is an opportunity to work on programmes that directly support national security, collaborating with senior military and civilian stakeholders to shape the future of Defence technology. You'll be responsible for understanding complex operational requirements, translating business needs into deliverable outcomes, and ensuring technology programmes remain aligned with user needs throughout delivery. The ideal candidate will already understand the Defence landscape, having delivered projects within MOD environments and being comfortable working across multiple secure locations throughout the UK. Travel to MOD sites will typically be required every couple of weeks, offering exposure to a wide range of programmes and stakeholders. We're particularly interested in candidates who bring a combination of active DV Clearance, previous MOD delivery experience, current or recently active MODNet access, and an ex-military background. Whilst this combination is highly desirable, we recognise excellent candidates come from different backgrounds. Strong MOD Business Analysts with DV or SC Clearance, recent MOD experience, or candidates who have left Defence within the last six months and may be able to reactivate their MODNet access are all encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will demonstrate experience gathering and managing requirements, facilitating workshops, engaging senior stakeholders, producing high-quality documentation, mapping business processes, and supporting the successful delivery of large-scale technology and digital change programmes within secure environments. This contract is initially for 3-6 months, with immediate demand across multiple Defence programmes with high likelihood of extension. If you're an experienced Business Analyst looking to work on meaningful programmes at the heart of UK Defence, we'd be delighted to discuss the opportunity in confidence.
