Senior Buyer - Dudley - c£40,000 Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be supporting a growing manufacturing business in Dudley that is looking to recruit a Senior Buyer to join their team. Working Hours / Benefits: • Full-time, Monday to Friday (Flexi time) • 25 days annual leave plus stats • Pension scheme • On-site parking Senior Buyer duties: • Assessing current procurement and planning practices, identifying gaps against best practice, and designing the processes, controls and documentation the division needs • Leading the shift from manual, informal ways of working to structured, repeatable processes • Developing and managing strategic supplier partnerships and leading category negotiations • Taking hands-on ownership of procurement and inventory management, working closely with operations • Owning supply and demand planning, building and maintaining manual planning tools such as reorder points, Kanban and spreadsheet-based plans • Managing supplier performance through regular reviews, challenging on delivery, quality and execution • Identifying cost savings and formulating annual plans for designated spend categories The Person • Significant experience across purchasing and supply chain within a manufacturing environment • Strong working knowledge of ERP or MRP systems, with substantial hands-on experience in manual supply and demand planning • Advanced Excel skills About Elevation Elevation Recruitment Group is a specialist recruitment consultancy that helps people build long-term, successful careers.
