Description • Develop and implement effective product strategies to meet business objectives. • Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal terms and conditions. • Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and supplier innovations. • Collaborate with the merchandiser to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively. • Analyse supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure service levels are met. Profile A successful Senior Buyer should have: • Previous experience in womenswear, ideally jersey tops or multi-product departments. • Strong negotiation and communication skills to manage supplier relationships effectively. • A solid understanding of market trends and cost management strategies. • Proficiency in procurement software and data analysis tools. • A detail-oriented approach to ensure compliance and accuracy in procurement processes. • The ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve business goals.
