Our newly built care home is based in the charming suburb of Pinhoe, Exeter. We offer exceptional standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite care for 67 residents. Alexander House was recently inspected in May 2026 and received a CQC Rating of 'Good' across the board, and also holds a review score of 9.6 on carehome Due to the continued success and growth of Alexander House, we are excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated individual to join our experienced and dedicated team. Senior Care Assistant Contract • £13.52 per hour • Full and Part time hours available • Enhanced rate for overtime • Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate. You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care. The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
